Home Remedies for Cure Dandruff at Home :
- Rub aloe vera gel into your scalp; leave it for 10 to 15 minutes and then shampoo.
- Mix 6 spoonfuls of water and 2 spoonfuls vinegar and apply it on your scalp with cotton pad before sleep. Shampoo next morning and rinse your hair once again with vinegar. Do this once a week at least for three months for best results.
- Mix one spoonful of lemon juice and 2 spoonfuls of vinegar and massage it on your scalp. After this shampoo your hair with an egg shampoo.
- Soak fenugreek seeds overnight, grind them in the morning to make a paste, apply it on your scalp, leave it for half an hour and then shampoo your hair.
- Mix 1 spoonful of sandalwood oil and 3 spoonfuls of lemon juice, massage it on your scalp, leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and wash your hair with an egg shampoo.
- Mix curd and lime juice and apply on your scalp, leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then shampoo your hair.
How you can Prevent Dandruff?
- Wash your hair twice in a week.
- Always keep your hair and scalp clean to minimize accumulation of dead cell that cause dandruff.
- Avoid using chemicals that are used for hair coloring.
- Include vitamins such as B6, B12, beta-carotene, selenium and zinc in your diet.
- Stress is another cause of dandruff. If are suffering from dandruff due to your stress, take steps to come out of it or practice relaxation techniques to treat stress.
- Do not use heat stylers excessively.
